The CVR World Cup was born of a group of impassioned individuals in the Zwift online racing environment. With the advent of online virtual cycling racing and its exponential growth, these individuals created CVR World Cup Rankings and the global CVR World Cup events.


Frank Garcia

No stranger to cycling, Frank has been competitively racing bikes since his youth. After finding the Zwift platform, his passion for the sport was reignited. As an entrepreneur, Frank has created several software development companies throughout his life and saw opportunity in the esports world, bringing Zwift and esports together. With his experience in business, the CVR World Cup was born. Frank is committed to creating innovative, sustainable and dependable experiences for audiences while crea ting relationships that endure.

Sharon Hackathorn

Sharon has been an integral part of the CVR World Cup since its inception. Holding the Presidential role, Sharon oversees Global operations, strategic planning and process improvement. While providing oversight of all internal operations including finance and administration, her customer facing interactions with contract management and proposal strategy is essential CVR World Cup’s growth. Involved in all aspects of the business, Sharon’s shared vision in creating long lasting partnerships, both internally and externally, keeps CVR World Cup a cohesive operating unit.

Vanessa Mauerhan

Vanessa has been with the organization since 2007 and plays an integral role in CVR World Cup live events. With a background in retail and event planning, Vanessa manages the planning, coordination and execution of CVR World Cup events. From finding locales and racers to managing on-site production, Vanessa’s customer facing interactions make CVR World Cup events successful, organized and fun.

Rachel “Ruby” Zambrano

Ruby is a long-time cyclist, triathlete and Peaks Coaching Group Elite Coach, with a talent for recruiting skilled riders to the CVR World Cup events.  Her blend of unique insights and perspectives within the cycling community are encouraging a vast number of cyclists to compete worldwide.  Ruby, a mother and firefighter in Texas, believes that Zwift will not only help busy people like herself stay in shape, but also help unite people in a cause greater than themselves across the globe.  That cause is to use virtual platforms to break down barriers, unite people and promote healthy competition through cycling.

Beth York

Beth serves as Executive Producer (and commentator) for CVR and is always preparing for the next CVR World Cup Event. A former triathlete (she’s retired from running), she has been exclusively focused on cycling (and some aqua bike). No stranger to Zwift, she was ride leader for the Zwift Academy program in 2017 and a graduate of the inaugural 2016 program. She has spent significant time training & racing on Zwift to prepare for the outdoor road racing and CX season. Outside of cycling, Beth is a competitive skydiver, musician and two-time Emmy award winning producer. She resides in the USA with her husband and two children.

Kim Little

Kim is an accomplished cyclist and an early Zwift adopter. As a major contributor to our organization his CVR responsibilities include creating and testing technology, building and configuring stations, and creating graphics and websites.  With over 20 years in the web industry, Kim has developed a plethora of websites, and now owns and operates a design and development company.  Kim is currently ranked in the top 5 for lifetime points on Cycligent Virtual Rankings and has competed in 3 CVR World Cup events.

Hunter Allen

Hunter Allen is a legendary cycling coach, co-author of Training and Racing with a Power Meter and Cutting-Edge Cycling, co-developer of TrainingPeaks WKO software, and founder of Peaks Coaching Group. Widely known as one of the top experts in the world in coaching endurance athletes using power meters, Hunter Allen teaches athletes how to maximize their training and racing potential through professional analysis of their power data. Hunter created all of the training plans for the CVR World Cup competition and used many of the same workouts that he uses with his personal coaching clients.  Hunter will be leading 3 webinars for the athletes in each season, giving you tips and pointers on how to maximize your training and racing. Hunter will also be leading and coaching at the CVR “Fantasy Camp” and will be at the finals as a commentator.Hunter is a PCG Elite/Master Coach, USAC Level 1 Coach, LEOMO Motion Analysis Certified Coach, and USAC Power Certification Course Instructor. He was also the 2008 Olympic USA BMX Team Technical Coach. Hunter holds a B.A. in Economics from Randolph College and lives with his family in Bedford, Virginia, with his super-wife Kate and three children.  In his spare time, he enjoys driving, racing and tinkering with fast cars, hunting, and of course cycling!

Mark McIntosh

Mark originally caught the cycling obsession via mountain biking through the UK Lake District Fells, however sense soon prevailed and he left behand the muddy mountain paths to tackle the faster, paved roads instead. These days, due to a small family, Zwift has become Marks obsession further feeding his competitive nature. In his spare time he also works as a Technical Manager for an electronics company.
