Cycligent is proud to announce Beth York who will be competing at CVR World Cup Paris.
As a lifelong athlete and competitor,Beth comes to cycling from a diverse background. She has competed regionally and nationally in formation skydiving, and as part of a world record setting team (JFTC 2005). But her fitness foundation comes from running.
In 2014 she transitioned to competing in triathlons (Sprint, Olympic & 70.3), even earning some podium finishes. This past year she has turned her attention to cycling exclusively, as the life-long knee-bashing has (forcibly) encouraged her to put the running aside (though she does continue to skydive).
Last fall she completed the inaugural Zwift Academy program and this winter she spent significant time indoor training & racing on Zwift preparing for Road Racing and the coming CX Season. Over the summer she’s been focused on endurance events (centuries/fondos), longer distance road races, and chasing epic cycling experiences, like racing up Mount Washington in New Hampshire-and now, CVR World Cup.
Beth currently leads rides for Zwift Academy and works as a Media Producer & Content Strategist and resides in a Massachusetts with her Husband and two children.
